Problem Statement

In 2012, Apple launched the ‘Apple Passbook’ and approached British Airways and American Airlines to integrate this feature, with the goal of making it more convenient for users to access their boarding passes.
While the British Airways app allows ticket booking and provides e-boarding passes to customers, there was no built-in option to organize these passes on the device for easy access.

Solutions

Evangelist Apps provided a solution to successfully integrate the Apple Passbook on iPhone and Apple Watches. This improvement makes it easier for customers to quickly scan and save their boarding passes. Boarding passes can now be accessed via Apple Watch, speeding up passenger movement and reducing crowded queues.
The integration of the wallet feature has resulted in an increased number of customers due to the improved overall experience it offers.
These add-ons to the app have not only improved the customer experience but also enabled airlines to serve more customers in less time.
