Being a leader in the luxurious beds market, Hästens did
not have a mobile app to help store users/ sales associates
to
place orders on behalf of customers which was the
biggest gap for their sales strategy.
Hästens make fully customisable beds with a variety of
combinations. They had to show the prices dynamically on
the app, which was a very challenging task. When a
customer was present in front of sales associates it was
tedious to show the prices for different configurations and
referring to the price catalogue.
Creation of sales order was a cumbersome task and it involved ordering via legacy systems which involved multiple steps to
complete the order. The sales order journey was not optimized when it came to ordering of an item.
There were no simplified options to show prices for the items at the store. The prices are updated every 3-6 months and it's
very difficult to refer to the price catalogue.There was no way to instantly generate the sales order invoice.
Hästens didn’t have a view and prices of inventory items leading it difficult to promote sales of inventory items.
A challenge was set out to build a new native iOS app for store users who could perform the tasks of ordering beds’ and
accessories’ for their customers with a few clicks.
Evangelist apps team set its eye on using the latest toolkit from Apple i.e. SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture and also the
capability to run the app on Apple MacBook M1, M2 which is the industry first. Working with the design team we built a very
intuitive and modern UX that was capable of gaining the due attention of its partners.
Evangelist apps created a new native iPhone app for Hästens to break the barrier to place orders by sales associates in the store. App is super user friendly which could create a sales order in a few clicks. The app allows users to purchase beds’ and accessories’ for their customers.
App implemented the options to display the prices for different bed and accessories configurations.
To display the prices of an item and purchasing, Adyen payment by link is being implemented making the app capable of completing the purchase through it within a few clicks.
App incorporated instant generation of sales orders and invoices.
App implements pricing of the items, and this journey is simplified so that pricing of the items can be viewed within a few clicks.
