Third Bridge is a market-leading global investment research firm in London. They provide unique, human-led insights to some of the world’s largest hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, and management consultancies to help them make better investment decisions. They serve over 1,000 investment firms, offering their clients 24/7 coverage through our team of 1,200+ employees across eight offices.

Third Bridge has a product called Forum, which is the biggest archive of high-quality expert interviews in the world, providing investors with critical knowledge to make smarter and faster decisions.

Problem Statement

  • Third Bridge wanted to find better ways to introduce new potential users to its archive of high-quality expert interviews.
  • Third Bridge wanted users to have offline access to interview audio and transcripts.
  • Storage of interview contents needed to be secured, also preventing users from taking screenshots.
  • Users needed to be notified when new interviews were available.
  • The client wanted to make it convenient for users to search interviews from its huge collection of contents.
  • Easy access to interviews that users read/listened to previously.
  • Prevent distribution of the interview transcripts through PDF files

Solutions Provided

  • Evangelist Apps contributed to the planning, design and development of The Third Bridge mobile app.
  • Third Bridge mobile app was developed for both iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android platforms, providing easy access to the interviews through a UX/UI friendly interface.
  • Third Bridge mobile allows users to download interview audio and transcripts. Users can download multiple contents suimultaneously and continue downloading when the app is in the background.
  • Interview transcripts are securely stored using CoreData, while downloaded audio is stored in the application sandbox.
  • Third Bridge mobile app features a powerful and intuitive search function to find interviews by companies and/or keywords.
  • A user activity section has been added to track listened to and read interviews.
  • The Forum app also allows users to register for unpublished interviews.
